QHSE Coordinator

The QHSE Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the organization and our vessels comply and continue to comply with all safety regulations. You ensure that our colleagues on board can safely perform their work.

Can you recognize yourself in:

• You develop, implement, and evaluate an effective QHSE policy and the QHSE annual plan
• You ensure good compliance and embedding of procedures and policies in the field of QHSE
• You advise management on QHSE matters
• You ensure the correct and up-to-date certifications
• You establish clear and up-to-date safety regulations and improvement proposals
• You conduct accident reports (root cause analysis)
• You conduct observation rounds and audits
• You manage the QHSE management system (MARAD)
• You ensure continuous improvement of organizational performance through training of colleagues and promoting safety and environmental awareness in the organization
• You are the prevention officer within the organization and are therefore responsible for advising on business risks and measures aimed at llimiting or eliminating these risks.

What we require:

• You have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Supplemented with at least an MKV diploma (HKV or equivalent is a plus)
• You have current knowledge of quality management systems and audits in het maritime sector
• You can fluently express yourself (within your field) in both Dutch and English, both in speech and writing
• You are analytical and able to work systematically and structured
• You are perfectly capable of discussing QHSE matters with external parties
• You have a flexible attitude, are stress-resistant, and capable of inspiring, motivating and convincing employees
